The all-female trio -- Susan Hochmiller, soprano (pictured); Tabatha Easley, flute; and Catherine Garner, piano -- has been performing and presenting at regional and national conferences since 2005.
Inspired by an interest in researching and performing lesser-known chamber music by female composers, the group faced the unexpected challenge of locating repertoire by living American female composers.
The program, comprised of works written after 1950, is a cross-section of accessible music highlighting both the success and diversity of female composers over the last sixty years.
