Presented by the Ralph Opera Program
The CSU voice area students are excited to be performing Henry Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. Audiences can look forward to another collaboration between the music and dance students in this beautiful Baroque piece, the first true English language opera.
The 7:30 p.m. event starts with a presentation about the composer given by Dr. Dawn Grapes, with solos and duets performed by Dr. Nicole Asel and Dr. Tiffany Blake. The opera will be presented following an intermission. We apologize for any confusion caused by our email newsletter, which advertised a 6:30 p.m. start time. The event begins at 7:30 p.m.
